1. Due to crop fertilization, human and livestock manure can be applied to general crops, but suitable crops are leafy vegetables, grains, and fiber crops. 2. After composting, most organic fertilizers often carry bacteria, insect eggs, and weed seeds. Without composting, they are not conducive to crop growth and should be applied after composting and fermentation (insecticides and fungicides such as phoxim can be added to organic fertilizers).

3. Basic and deep application are the main methods. Organic fertilizer has a long effect and slow nutrient release, so it should generally be used as a base fertilizer. Applying organic fertilizers during deep plowing is beneficial for the integration of soil and fertilizer, promotes the formation of soil aggregate structure, and effectively improves soil properties.

4. The amount of fertilizer should not be too large. Organic fertilizer has a large volume and low nutrient content, and requires a large amount of application to meet the growth needs of crops, but more is not necessarily better. If planting Chinese cabbage, applying 4000-6000 kilograms of decomposed organic fertilizer per acre is sufficient.

Reasonable mixing application: The nutrient content of sheep manure is high in livestock manure, with a fast decomposition rate and strong manure strength. To achieve stable manure strength, pig manure or cow manure should be added to sheep manure for mixed application. Human feces and urine are quick acting organic fertilizers, which should be applied in combination with soil and miscellaneous fertilizers, as well as phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
